Every app on your phone, sorted by what you need it for.
Life in 22 Taps puts all your apps into 22 areas of ordinary life โ Money, Transport, Food, Health, Family โ on one screen. You find things by what you need, not by remembering what they are called.
For the times you can't remember the app's name
Phone search is quick when you know what you're looking for. This is for the other times.
You need to pay for parking, and you have five parking apps and no idea which one covers this car park. Open Transport and they're all there together.
You need to send money home. Every banking and transfer app you own is in Money.
It's also how you rediscover the apps you forgot you installed.
- Sorts itselfNothing to set up. On the phones we've tested, around 95% of apps land in the right area straight away.
- One screen22 tiles with a count on each. No scrolling, no folders, no pages.
- Your choice winsLong-press any app to move it. It stays where you put it.
- Favourites and recentsYour three most-used apps sit at the top, with the last two you opened beside them.
- Search by needType โmoneyโ and every money app appears.
- Optional extrasNotification dots, a list of apps you haven't opened in a year, and using it as your home screen. All off until you switch them on.
Private because it can't be anything else
The app has no internet access at all. There's no account, no sign-up, no analytics and no tracking, and nothing is requested when you install it.
Two optional features ask Android for access, and only when you switch them on: notification dots see which app has a notification, never what it says, and the tidy-up list sees the date each app was last opened. You can withdraw either at any time in Android's settings.
One price, for the whole family
Pay once and it's yours, with every update included. No subscription.
Google Play Family Library lets you share it with up to five family members at no extra cost.
About the Offers tile
One tile, called Offers, shows local sponsors, events and promotions. It's how the app stays at a pound. It's a tile you choose to open: nothing pops up over your apps, it sends no notifications, advertisers learn nothing about you, and you can switch it off in settings.
Founding users
We have a limited number of free codes for people willing to use the app for a week and tell us honestly what they think, including what annoyed them.
To ask for one, email support@lifein22taps.com and tell us which phone you use. Codes go to people we can talk to, so there's no guarantee, but every email gets a reply.
Run a business?
Offers slots are sold by the week, per country, to local businesses and events. Founding Partners who book before 31 December 2026 get four weeks for the price of one.
